You've identified a high risk abnormal incision site. Take a breath and call your Veterinarian for an appointment.

This has the potential of becoming serious but is not an immediate emergency. Place an e-collar on the patient if possible and continue to closely monitor until able to see your veterinarian. If problem worsens, seek immediate medical attention.

All patients will receive a tattoo as an indication that they have been altered. Expect green ink to be at this site, though uncommon monitor for any redness, swelling, inflammation, or discharge as you would an incision site.
